QUESTIONS

  • Bring a mat if you love yours, but you never need to stress about having one.

For apparatus Pilates classes, you do not need to bring anything.

For mat-based classes (mat Pilates, yoga, etc.), we provide high-quality mat rentals for $2 at the studio. If you don’t have one, forget yours or are traveling, you’re fully covered.

  • Yes, as long as you have medical clearance from your doctor to participate in sessions if you are pregnant. Congratulations! Make sure to let us know so we can take care of your body and baby in the safest way.

  • We’re honored you’re starting your journey with us! The hardest part is getting started. Feeling intimidated and scared is part of the process. We are passionate about creating a space for all fitness levels where everyone feels welcome.

Look at our “Start Here” series on the website. Designed to create a non-intimidating space where things are explained clearly, questions are welcome, and you can learn without feeling rushed or confused. Ideal for beginners, new students, or anyone who wants to build confidence and understand the basics.

Check out the “Blind Date Membership,” our one-time introductory offer for new clients. Blind Date includes 55 credits for 14 days, plus two free guest passes. Bring a friend on your first visit or any visit.

  • It’s easiest to manage your classes through the Studio Love app.  On the app homepage, you’ll see all your upcoming classes. To cancel, hit ‘view’ and then ‘Cancel Reservation’. Alternatively, sign in through ‘My Account’ at the top of our website. Once signed in, navigate to the ‘bookings’ tab to view all past and upcoming reservations.

  • To cancel your membership, sign in to your account through our website, go to the purchases tab, click the three yellow dots next to the membership you wish to cancel, and select ‘cancel’ from the drop-down. If you cancel your membership and wish to resume later, you will have to sign up again at the current rates. This applies to our founder memberships—after canceling, that rate will no longer be available.

  • Members may freeze their membership from one week to three months.

Freezing your membership pauses billing, which will automatically resume at the end of the freeze period. Any use of your credits during the freeze at Studio Love will automatically terminate the freeze.

Military Member: If at any time during the term of your agreement, you are deployed or assigned to active duty, Studio Love will allow you to freeze your membership for the time in which you are absent upon written request from you. You will need to provide proof of deployment or assignment detailing your absence and the applicable time period.

We strive to accommodate our members where possible. Please email us if you have any questions or require special accommodation.

  • Memberships activate on the date of purchase. If you need to adjust your activation date, please send us an email.

  • Yes, we do! We kindly ask for a valid form of veteran identification to keep on file. Our Veteran Discount is 10% off any of our services. Veteran discounts can’t be combined with other promotional offers. Please email us for more information!

  • We encourage arriving on time, and ideally a few minutes early, so you can settle in, breathe, and start class from a place of presence rather than rush.

We understand that life happens. You spill your coffee. You hit unexpected traffic. You get stuck behind a school bus. It happens. Coming to class a little late is better than not coming at all, and you will always be welcomed with kindness and without judgment.

That said, for safety reasons, we have a 5-minute late arrival cutoff.

If you arrive more than 5 minutes after class start time, you will not be permitted to enter class. At that point, the warm-up has passed and bodies are preparing for more complex movement. Entering without a proper warm-up increases risk of injury, and instructors are unable to modify class flow for late arrivals.

    New Students
If it’s your first time at Studio Love, please arrive at least 10 minutes early. This allows time for check-in, orientation, and setup. If a new student arrives late, they will not be admitted to class.

  • Yes. We have filtered water available for refilling your water bottle. We also offer infused specialty waters, including our signature lemon ginger water and rotating seasonal blends.

If you forget a bottle, we have water bottles for purchase as well as bottled water available in the fridge.

You’ll also find complimentary tea available before or after class, because we love a moment to pause before heading back into real life.

  • We provide small towels for hot classes and cool lavender cloths at the end of hot classes. If you prefer to practice with a mat sweat towel, we recommend bringing your own.

At this time, we do not have showers yet. As Studio Love grows, adding showers is part of our long-term plan so you can rinse off after a sweaty class and head back into your day with ease.

  • Reformer Pilates is a form of resistance-based movement performed on a specialized piece of equipment called a reformer. It uses springs, straps, and a moving carriage to build strength, improve mobility, support joint health, and increase body awareness.

One of the things that makes the reformer so special is that spring tension can be used as both resistance and assistance. It can make certain movements more challenging, but it can also make movements more accessible. This allows people of many different abilities and experience levels to move safely and effectively.

At Studio Love, our approach to Reformer Pilates is intentional, intelligent, and human.

We use the principles and foundations of Pilates and apply them to what bodies actually need in everyday life. We are not training so you become “good at Pilates.” We are training so you can live your life more comfortably and with spontaneous zest.

So you can get up and down from the floor with ease.
    So you can carry groceries.
So you can pick up your kids or grandkids.
So you can help a friend move - pain free!
So you can move through your day with less pain and more confidence.

We prioritize thoughtful sequencing, clear instruction, and adaptable programming. We pay attention to how bodies are changing, how modern life impacts posture and movement, and we meet each client where they are.

You can expect classes that are challenging, supportive, adaptable, and rooted in current, evidence-informed movement principles.
